Halloween came and went this year and boy did we have a blast at the salon. Every year we dress up as a group, the planning for which starts Nov. 1st as we gorge ourselves on the left over candy. Last year (the year of the "chair incident") the ladies dressed up as classic playboy bunnies costumes sewn by our very own Sonya. This year we were classic Disney villains. Kerry was the evil queen, which went without saying. Not only is she the original villain, her striking brows made Kerry the perfect candidate. Kelly went as Maleficent with a costume made by Beth Anne Galloway from All About Sewing. Dawn brilliantly came up with a last minute costume for Cinderella's evil step mother, Lady Tremaine. Jo went as Ursula from the Little Mermaid, Lynn went as the queen of hearts, and Sonya as Cruella Deville. Despite the pouring rain, we passed out candy to roughly 100 Ninja Turtles, 231 Batmans, and approximately 478 sopping wet Elsas who weren't bothered at all by the cold.
